Let me introduce Buster and Abby Oliver. Buster is a 4 year old Pekingese who will wrap you around his paw with his big brown eyes. Abby is a 2 year old Mini Schnauzer who will capture your heart with her song. These two pups have been traveling with us, exploring campgrounds and bark parks. Both of them enjoy meeting friends everywhere they go. Buster is a ladies man and Abby is friends to all. They are, of course, spoiled absolutely rotten. Buster is a Long Island dog. Born and raised briefly on Shelter Island, he enjoyed his freedom. He enjoyed soft grass, mild summers and even survived a New York winter. We lived in an upstairs apartment so he has never known a fenced yard. He was already accustomed to living in a small space so at the tender age of 1 1/2 years old, he transitioned fairly well into the camper. Buster prefers northern destinations as opposed to southern primarily due to what he calls crunchy grass. He hates crunchy grass (particularly in Florida). He will do his business and hop right back onto gravel or concrete even on a hot summer day. Abby is a Florida girl. We picked her up just shy of a year on the road while in Florida for the winter. I wasn’t supposed to get another dog (we had a Lab Mix at the time as well), but she was so incredibly cute and I can never resist a fuzzy pup! She spent her first few weeks being carried around like a little doll. She has never known anything but the camper life and it seems to suit her very well.
